A sixteen-year-old boy who killed his brother will serve a three-year non-custodial sentence. The teenage allegedly committed the offence over a despute on a toothbrush last year. Justice Roseline Korir said the boy must adhere to the terms of probation, failure to which he will be sent to prison. She said that the boy was remorseful and his family, and in, particular the mother, had undertaken to take appropriate steps to nurture the boy.
