HUNDREDS of Kenyans went to Uhuru Park yesterday to donate blood for those wounded during the Westgate Mall attack. Only 1,500 people were able to donate blood, the rest were turned away. Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, who addressed the press minutes after he donated blood, told Kenyans to remain calm as they await for the situation to be settled. “Let us be united regardless of our religion or race,” Kidero said.
