Kikuyu Council of Elders in Kiambu have asked Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta not to interfere with the election of governor. The elders said the people should be allowed to elect the governor of their choice. They asked Uhuru to allow a party affiliated to TNA to produce the governor. The elders were led by James Njoroge ( chairman) George Thathi (secretary) and Wilfred Mbira (vice chairman) during a press briefing in Kiambu town.
