An aspirant for Murang’a county governor has dismissed claims he is a project of the elite. Dr Moses Mwangi said tycoons, who are members of Murang’a County Initiative, are not behind his bid as claimed by his rivals. Mwangi said he has quit being a member of the group to vie for the seat. Speaking during a meeting, Mwangi said he is his own man and has not been sponsored by any group. Mwangi is among five aspirants eyeing the governor seat.
