Aspirants wary of IDs in primaries

ODM Taita Taveta branch nominations have been rocked by confusion over the use of ID cards. The members are opposed to the use of ID cards in the nominations slated for January 17. They instead want both party membership cards and ID cards used in the nominations. Alexander Mwangeka, the spokesperson for Taita Taveta governor aspirant John Mruttu said the use of ID cards is being championed by a section of aspirants, who he said were unpopular and wants to rig the primaries.
