Businessman Jimnah Mbaru's bid for Nairobi governor got a boost yesterday after three of his opponents stepped down for him. Lee Muchiri, Nairobi Central Business District chairman Timothy Muriuki and Chege Waweru told a media conference at the Boulevard Hotel that they had given up their bids to support the stock broker.
