AN ICC witness yesterday admitted to making up the evidence he gave during his testimony. He said he never said Deputy President William Ruto was responsible for the violence. While being questioned by Ruto's lawyer Karim Khan, Witness 409 admitted that he did not attend a rally at which he had claimed that the Deputy Preisdent incited people. In his testimony, the witness had said that towards the end of the campaigns, Ruto attended a rally at Metetkei where he used coded language against non-Kalenjins.
