A non-governmental organization has trained 62 youths from both Nyamira and Kisii counties to train women on the table banking concept. Joyful Women Organization, which is a national NGO undertaking women economic empowerment programmes and table banking as one of the activities took the youth through a three day raining on how to go about their roles as trainers of trainers (ToTs). The organizations table banking manager Abraham Kipkemei said that the TOTs will be encouraging women form groups and start contributing as little as Sh 200 monthly.
