Trader wins Emurua Dikirr URP ticket

David Keter, a businessman in Bomet and Narok counties, was yesterday declared the winner of URP ticket for the newly created Emurua Dikirr constituency seat. Keter, popularly known as 'Dolaline', got 11,377 votes, trouncing his main rival Evaline Koiyan, a former Daystar University student leader, who garnered 7,965 votes and Ali Said Sang who came in third with 79 votes. Emurua Dikirr constituency, which was carved off Kilgoris constituency and whose residents are predominantly Kipsigis, is considered a URP zone...
