A 30-year-old man committed suicide in Embu West district following a domestic quarrel. The man had unsuccessfully tried to kill his wife and daughter. The man identified as Peter Gatugi and who from Karatina in Nyeri county, was restrained by neighbours who helped and the little girl to escape. The incident occurred at Kivunguru village on Friday.
