Imenti businessman, 25, robbed and killed

Police in Imenti South have found the body of a 25-year-old trader and farmer. Police boss John Cheruiyot said John Mwongera, a timber trader at Mitunguu market, left his home at around 5pm. "His body was discovered this morning at around 7am dumped at Rumbo sub-location in Mitunguu near Oasis Academy's gate by residents going to the market who told the police," he said. Cheruiyot said the body had severe head injuries and several blood clots due to bleeding.
