A baby girl drowned and died in a bucket full of water in Mbeere North subcounty yesterday. Esther Murugi, 1 and half, allegedly fell in the bucket as she played with her siblings. Witnesses said Murugi played with her twin sister as their mother washed clothes outside their house at around 8pm in Siakago town. The witness said her playmates raised the alarm prompting their mother to rush into the house. "She found the baby unconcious before she died."
