kisumu Two MCAs have differed with Ainamoi MP Benjamin Langat over his call to reduce the number of MPs and MCAs to cut down the wage bill. Speaking yesterday at a press conference in Kisumu town, Vihiga nominated ward representative Ben Ombima said the proposal is ill-advised and meant to kill devolution. He said the government should come up with a national salary policy and intensify the fight against corruption instead. Nyalenda ward representative Jacktone Onunga said pay cuts will not reduce wastage.
