The Nandi Teachers Saving and Cooperative Society has been licensed to operate banking deposit services for teachers. Nandi teachers Sacco chairman Alfred Ngetuny said they will offer the services to more than 3,000 member teachers. “We are happy with the decision by the government to give us the license,” said Ngetuny. The sacco becomes the second one to be licensed in Nandi county after the Nandi Hekima Sacco for tea and dairy farmers.
