Register people with jiggers, state told

AHADI Kenya Trust has called on the government to include people infested with jiggers in digital registration. The trust CEO Stanley Kamau said the government should have the exact number of those infested with jiggers and the disabled. Kamau yesterday told the Star on the phone that after the statistics are known, the organisation can come up with a strategic plan which will help end poverty. “Our statistics show that we have more than 2.6 million infested with jiggers but this number has reduced since many have healed.
