Machakos UDF governor candidate Jimmy Mumina has named his running mate. Mumina, a former head of economic crime at the National Security Intelligence Service, picked businessman Joseph Kithyaka as his deputy. He made the announcement in Machakos town. Kithyaka is the immediate former chief executive of the Kenya Today weekly newspaper, a publication of the government which has folded up.
