Police in Meru have recovered a consignment of vandalized cable installations belonging to the Kenya Power and Telkom Kenya. The cables were found at Kooje estate in Meru town during an operation led by police boss Tom Odero and chief Mercy Muriithi. Odero said the police found the cables following a tip-off from members of the public. One suspect was arrested. On Wednesday , two people were arrested at Gakoromone with a vandalised transformer.
