Judge rejects DPP, don’s deal on criminal charges

THE High Court has rejected a consent signed between a university lecturer and the state stopping the prosecution of the professor. Justice Weldon Korir said in the ruling that the consent signed by Peter Mulwa Mbithi and the Director of Public Prosecutions is unconstitutional and cannot be adopted by the court.
