Four held over Sh3m Nandi pipes robbery

Police in Kapsabet are interrogating four people over the theft of 1,000 water pipes worth Sh3 million from the Nandi Kapsabet Water and Sanitation Company stores. Nandi central OCPD Nelson Okioga said police have also recovered some of the pipes from a store in town as they had being sold to unsuspecting customers. The equipment was part of imported material from Japan by a construction firm for the Sh1.2 B water project that has been funded by the Japanese government in liaison with Kenya to serve the 50,000 Kapsabet town population...
