New law for traditional health workers

The government is planning to crack down on quacks operating as traditional health practitioners by enacting a strict legislation to regulate the sector. A new law has proposed the establishment of Traditional Health Practitioners Council of Kenya that will prescribe the minimum requirements and qualifications for specialists.
