Jirongo, Eugene call for unity ahead of elections

Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa and Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo continued their joint rallies in Kakamega county with an appeal to voters to register in laerge numbers ahead of elections. The two presidential aspirants emphasised that the county's status as the largest Kenya outside Nairobi should be a key determining factor in the 2013 Presidential Election. In their speeches across two church services, Jirongo and Wamalwa emphasised on unity, saying Western Kenya has the tradition of humility, peace and fair play to offer the rest of the Kenya, which they described as deeply polarised.
