THE Parliamentary Service Commission is on the spot over the unusually high number of employees at Parliament — 1,000 staff costing Sh800 million in monthly wages, according to senior officers. These senior officers are quietly grumbling, accusing the PSC of splurging on an unnecessarily high number of staff, compared with those in the old, smaller Parliament, and having scant regard for actual requirements.
