The prosecution in a case where a former director of the Kenya Pipeline Company is charged with fraud was yesterday accused of delaying the case. Ezekiel Komen and four other former senior civil servants are charged with conspiring to defraud a widow of 785 acres of land valued at Sh850 million in Eldoret. The case, scheduled for hearing yesterday before Nairobi chief magistrate Kiarie Waweru, could not proceed because some of the accused persons have not been supplied with witness statements to enable them organise their defence...
