UNDP has initiated a campaign to help government and communities in the country prevent election related violence ahead of the March 4 general election. Speaking to the press yesterday at a UNDP sponsored training forum in Eldoret, Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery team leader, Beatrice Teya said they are training government officials and other stakeholders from the private sector on how to prevent and deal with poll violence.
