Four people have been charged with possessing ivory worth Sh1.5 million. Peter Onyanzi, Melllen Gesare, Ephraim Masika and Anthony Losuru appeared before a Kibera court yesterday. They are accused of having 15kg of elephant tusks on Saturday in Ongata Rongai township without a valid licence. They denied the charge before principal magistrate Tito Gesora and asked the court for lenient bail.
