MORE than Sh700 million will be used to upgrade two hospitals in Uasin Gishu county to level five status. The sub-district hospitals at Ziwa and Burnt Forest will serve as referral hospitals for the county, which has another 110 health centres. Governor Jackson Mandago said the two hospitals are part of those to be expanded by the national government in all the 47 counties at a cost more than Sh34 billion.
