MIGORI: A teenager was yesterday electrocuted at Soweto village, Uriri constituency while weeding a farm. Okello Onyango, 19, was weeding his uncle’s land next to a video show room when he stepped on a live wire . The wire was illegally connected underground from an electric pole. Area police boss Jacob Kaveria said the owner of the showroom fled for fear of arrest and the wrath of villagers. “We have already consulted Kenya Power to ascertain the connection and have launched a manhunt for the proprietor,” he said. Onyango's body is at Migori Level Four Hospital mortuary.
