MURANG'A MCAs have passed a motion compelling the government to come up with a policy that will identify and conserve historical, cultural and traditional sites. While tabling the motion yesterday, Kigumo MCA Caroline Njoroge said sites that could thrust the county into the limelight lie in ruins, citing the Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga shrine. The motion called on the Culture department to consult the Kikuyu Council of Elders.
