A senior chief in Lari subcounty yesterday hosted leaders and residents at Nyamweru High School in a party to celebrate his retirement. Joseph Gitau has served Githirioni location since he was employed as an assistant chief in 1981. Cabinet Secretary Francis Kimemia's wife Ann and her son Thuita attended the function. Thuita urged young people to dress modestly. Also present were Lari deputy county commissioner Benard Kinyua and assistant county commissioners Michael Too and Agnes Shaddrack.
