Residents demand land from Uhuru

More than 87,000 people in Kiambu are demanding that Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta donates his land for the resettlement of IDPs. The people, who have registered with the Kenya National Land Accord Movement, said Uhuru should donate part of his land to post-election violence IDPs if they are to vote for him. Addressing the press in Kiambu yesterday, KNLAM national coordinator Muthamia Raria said they will collect 1,000,000 signatures to support their demand.
