LANDS minister James Orengo and Finance assistant minister Oburu Oginga yesterday held a joint rally raising speculations over their senator bid. The once friends turned arch rivals addressed a crowd at Aram trading centre in Rarieda district where they assured the public that negotiations were going on over their senator bid. A source told the Star that an agreement has been reached where Oburu agreed to cede the seat to Orengo. However, Orengo said consultations are underway to ensure that each of the six constituencies in Siaya County gets equal share in the various devolved seats...
