An Anglican Church of Kenya priest has welcomed the proposal by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga to vet religious leaders. Maseno West Diocese Rev Kenneth Wachianga said vetting religious leaders will weed out bogus individuals from the church. “Some unscrupulous individuals have been swindling the public off their money in the guise of representing the church,” he told the Star.
