KENYA is likely to experience food shortage in June and July, Agriculture Secretary Felix Koskei announced yesterday. He said this could be attributed to the export of maize to South Sudan where the price is double what is being offered by the National Cereals and Produce Board. “Currently we only have 2.5 million bags of maize in our food stores against a population of 41 million people.
