KISUMU MCAs have denied the irregular withdrawal of Sh17 million from the county assembly’s account. Chief Whip Isaiah Onyango said the allegations are "wild". Onyango yesterday gave Speaker Ann Adul three days to apologise for accusing them of stealing public funds. He said the MCAs will take legal action against Adul should she fail to say sorry. Onyango said they are not aware that any money is missing from the account. He said all the assembly's funds and assets are intact.
