Murang’a county assembly has passed a motion pressing the county government to come up with a plan to eradicate jiggers. Tabled by Deputy Speaker Moses Gachui, the plan compels the county government to establish the number of jigger-infested residents. The motion is a slap in the face of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who only last week claimed the anti-jigger campaign by Ahadi Trust CEO Stanley Kamau of Ahadi Kenya was meant to taint the reputation of the county.
